The “New construction regulations”, enforced in 2009 and recently updated (2018), define the rules for the certification of wood-based products used in constructions, including solid wood beams. This workshop illustrates the “machine-based” classification principles and the latest revision of the standards containing the visual classification rules for structural wood in Italy.
